I love my car

Seriously. She's my best friend. I'm that awkward high school student that talks to his car and has no best friend except for my car and my dog. I'm not anti-social, but I've lost friends because they accidentally closed my car door while touching the paint and not the door handle. My sister actually hates me for telling her to use the handle everyday and for getting mad at her for taking her shoes off in my car (she does have a contagious foot disease, so I'm not that much of a dick) and I don't let her eat or drink.

I wrecked my car about a week ago (tuesday) and this week has been rough. My human counterparts have noticed that I've been different and they all know that it's about the car. Crashing as a teenager is difficult to begin with. It's all different when you crash your best friend. It's like letting breaking your best friend's leg doing something stupid.

She's coming back tuesday and I don't know if she'l be the same. All my friends are mad at me, but I guess it just means they care. My only car friends went to college last year so I always annoy everyone else talking about turbochargers and how I like the Aztec.

I don't know. Im being emotional. The only people I like being around right now are my car, my dog, and my Cross country coach. And oppo is a great place. You're all cool. Yeah.

I only have something like four friends in real life and my car is one of them so I totally get you.

Is your car a '58 Plymouth Belvedere?

I can empathize. I have a very few close friends, albeit I'd do anything for them, and I talk to my car. A lot.

I also curse at my sexy, bad-tempered Italian mistress, a lot.

You can love your car, just don't LOOOOOVE your car.

I think I'm just done with high school. I'm only a junior but I just want to get out of here. I go to school 25 miles away, in the city which is good, because the town I live in isn't my kind of place. It's a town where everyone drives Jeep Grand Cherokees and all other negative car stereotypes, like kids like me driving new BMWs. And bro trucks. So many bro trucks. I just want to go to college and get out of this town.

I wouldn't even let her near my car let alone in it. what the shit... tell her to get that checked out...

2000 Saab. I shouldn't get mad but I do. My grandpa actually has a 1966 Belvedere II in his basement, untouched since 1987. I think it has a 440. Pearl white.

This is the end of Oppo. We're all going to be killed in hit-and-runs.

She also crys when I yell at her about it. She doesn't understand. She's also really preppy and I'm more of the play pranks on Student Council just to make them mad kinda guy. She also disaproves of me blasting my music when I drop her off and she really doesn't like it when I use my PA system to greet her.

To me college just feels like an extension of high school but tarted in a veneer of "responsibility". I just reached a point were I began to give zero fucks and its been working so far.

I feel like college will be more catered to the stuff I want to do though. My school is a public one with an arts concentration so all my technology classes get very small budgets while all the arts guys are doing stuff. In college I'm thinking they'll have all the classes I want and some will be interesting.

I don't care about anything anymore at school. The only hard class I have is Latin and after that class my day is just classes I have to sit through to get counted on attendance. I haven't done homework all year long and I've only gotten one C all year.

Well college will be better in that regards. More tech classes will definitely boost your interest.

I just think I'm suffering from end of semester blues but I really wish college would zip by.

I'm with you on that one! I lost friends for forcing them to shake the mats out, and not eat or drink. Don't get me wrong, I hooned the crap out of my car, but I kept it nice and clean.

I feel ya, buddy. I get into a really sore mood if I go for a week without driving. Everything in my town is so close and I'm really busy with school and work, so my girlfriend is usually holding onto the car since she's from outta town and actually has a place to park it under a roof. We get hailstorms often around here. Or drunken idiots. It's better this way.

Today I took it back into town and even though traffic was slowing me down, the little forest road on the way made it all worth it. Here's a shitty, choppy video from 3 years ago, but still:

Anyway, have a Hirsch'd wagon to cheer you up:

I'm more of the second one. I carry a canoe on my roof and do some field thrashing. FWD turbo wagons are underrated for light trail use.
